Old Principal giving charge to new Principal at Bishop Johnson Girls School and College, Prayagraj.
On Tuesday a group of people entermeted the school premises and forcefully removed the old principal Parul Baldev Solomon from her post and appointed Shirley Masih as the new principal.It all started after a fight over management of Diocese of Lucknow. Recently Morris Edgar Dan took charge of Bishop of Diocese of Lucknow and he removed Parul Baldev Solomon form the post of Principal of Bishop Johnson Girls School and College, Prayagraj. Parul is the Daughter of Ex Bishop Peter Baldev and she refused to give charge. She claimed that the matter is pending in the court. But on Tuesday Bishop Morris Edgar Dan entered the School premises and forcefully removed the Principal from her chair. What can we say? This is the situation of the management of these schools where we send our children to learn morality and ethics.
Bishop Johnson Girls High School in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India run by the Diocese of Lucknow (Church of North India [CNI]), sparked outrage on Tuesday when supporters of Bishop Morris Edgar Dan allegedly forced the current principal, Parul Solomon from her chair.
The incident, captured on video and widely shared on social media, shows a group led by a lawyer entering the principal’s chambers.
The group forced her out and installed a new principal in her place.
Following the scuffle, Parul Solomon filed a complaint with the Colonelganj Police Station in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Solomon’s complaint accused Bishop Morris Edgar Dan and his supporters of looting, intimidating, and engaging in misbehavior during the incident.
Bishop Morris Edgar Dan has yet to officially respond to the charges.
