CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: 🚨 US DENIES Visas to Palestinian Officials Ahead of UN General Assembly | Major Diplomatic Move
The United States has announced it will deny and revoke visas for Palestinian Authority (PA) and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) officials ahead of the UN General Assembly in September 2025. Secretary of State Marco Rubio cites violations of US law, including “pay-for-slay” programs and incitement to violence. This move signals a significant escalation in US-Palestinian relations, while UN mission diplomats may still attend under special waivers.
Hi everyone,
The United States is taking a firm stance on Middle East policy, denying visas to Palestinian officials ahead of the UN General Assembly in September 2025.
This action targets PA and PLO leaders for policies undermining peace efforts, including support for terrorism and incitement in education.
While existing diplomats can attend under UN waivers, this move intensifies tensions and highlights America’s commitment to a negotiated two-state solution.

This decision was confirmed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who stated that the move aims to hold the PLO and the PA accountable for actions that undermine peace efforts.
The US government justifies this action by citing violations of US law, particularly the Palestinian Liberation Organization Commitments Compliance Act (PLOCCA) and the Middle East Peace Commitments Act (MEPCA). These laws prohibit US recognition of Palestinian statehood and impose sanctions on the PA for activities such as “pay-for-slay” programs, glorification of violence, and incitement to terrorism in education.
Despite these restrictions, the US has stated that the Palestinian Mission to the UN will receive waivers per the UN Headquarters Agreement, allowing its existing diplomats to attend the General Assembly.
This move comes after a series of sanctions imposed by the US on PA and PLO officials in July 2025, aimed at pressuring the Palestinian leadership to change its policies. The US has consistently opposed unilateral actions at the UN that it believes do not contribute to a negotiated two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians.
The denial of visas to Palestinian officials marks a significant escalation in US-Palestinian relations and underscores the Trump administration’s firm stance on Middle East peace and US foreign policy objectives.

Today the Trump Administration is announcing it will deny and revoke visas from members of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA) ahead of the upcoming UN General Assembly per U.S. law.
Before we take them seriously as partners in peace, the PA and PLO must completely reject terrorism and stop counterproductively pursuing the unilateral recognition of a hypothetical state.
