Whetu Bennett had recently moved from Waikato and does not have a phone or reliable support in Auckland. She was last spotted wearing a beige top, a black dress, and sunglasses.
The 17-year-old girl has been missing since June 25, 2025, and was last seen about 12 PM at LynnMall in New Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand.
She recently moved up from Waikato with her partner, but has not contacted anyone and does not have her phone with her.
Family members, especially her sister, are deeply worried, calling for the public’s help, and pleading for her safety.

UPDATE- MISSING! REPORT number – 250626/5181. This is my baby sister her name is Whetu Bennett she is 17 she is missing in the Auckland area. Hasn’t been seen since Tuesday. Last location of seen where abouts is New Lynn mall. Wearing black dress beige top and sun glasses. Her partner has called my mum in Morrisville to inform her that he hasn’t seen her since yesterday. She isn’t from Auckland and hasn’t got anyone up there she knows. Please share my post I’m absolutely 💔 police report getting done now. I have barely any information to give. She has no phone to call us or msg us. Please help us find my sister.
