Valerie Elder Smiley, a Chattanooga mother of 4, has been missing since June 28.
On Tuesday afternoon, her family and friends gathered outside Sak’s Wing Shak, where she worked, pleading with the public to assist in finding her and bringing her home.
Valerie’s cousin, Tara Daniels, stated they had last seen her on Friday, June 28.
She stated that Valerie did not simply go, but that she suffered from memory loss due to a medical condition.
She expressed fear that Valerie may not know how to get home or grasp what is happening on.
Daniels claims law enforcement has been watching her car using traffic cameras, and it was last seen on Monday.
Her family’s situation worsens with each passing day.
Daniels expressed gratitude to the community for their support and asked that they continue to be vigilant in the hopes of getting her home.
They also leave a message for Valeria.
The family stated that if Valerie is not found within the next few days, they intend to form a search party.
Valerie was driving a red Ford Expedition with a “TSU Mom” sticker on the back and wearing a yellow polo and jean shorts.
The family is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that helps them find her.
