Israeli jets strikes southern Lebanon near border with Israel
Plumes of smoke rose over hills on the border between #Israel and #Lebanon after a wave of Israeli airstrikes against what the army said were #Hezbollah targets.
Israel warned citizens to evacuate areas where it said the heavily armed group Hezbollah was storing weapons.
Lebanon’s health ministry said at least 100 people were killed and more than 400 were injured in the strikes.
