What we need to know regarding the disappearance of Keith Klein Sr & what YOU can do to help.
The family & friends have been searching tirelessly and following up on many potential leads.
Swanton PD & the family received a recording from a home security system yesterday that was Time stamped for 4/3 @ 4:36am. What does this show?
1. His clothing description has changed (dark coat & khaki pants)
2. We have a confirmed sighting of his whereabouts (Dodge & Zeiter)
3. His physical & mental condition (disoriented & In discomfort)
4. The area he was headed (East)
First, thank you to the resident who has provided this amazing lead! You are a blessing.
Swanton PD & family continued to visit area businesses who were able to provide additional footage of him heading east down Zeiter Rd, but that footage is limited. Where did he go from there?
Asking residents and businesses in the area… PLEASE check your cameras on 4/3 between the hours of 4:45-6am. Please report any disturbances or oddities to the Swanton PD. They are diligently following up on any potential information.
This means.. we are expanding our search area. It is possible that he was trying to escape the elements of the weather and tried to seek shelter. Please check campers, sheds, unlocked vehicles or garages. If you live on Hallett, Woodland, Church, Lincoln, Woodside.. this may be an area we focus on.
In the video. He was disoriented, he was unable to walk for a long distance without breaking, he walks with a limp. He has physical impairments that may not allow him to hop on a rail car… but we can hope his is living his best life. Anything is a possibility until we have known facts.

Name: Keith Klein
Age: 68
Description: Height/5’7”, Weight/175, Hair/Brown, Eyes/Blue. Clothing Description/ Possibly a light-colored t-shirt and shorts.
Last Seen: April 2, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm
Location: 305 Dodge St. Swanton, Ohio
Additional Information: Mr. Klein is a non-driver and would most likely be walking in the Swanton area.
We are actively investigating and working with the family to ensure Keith Klein’s safe return. If you have any information about his whereabouts, please contact the Swanton Police Department immediately at (419)826-4696 or dial 911.
