Corey Comperatore, a devout Christian and family man, was tragically taken from this world. This video is a tribute to his faith, courage, and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. May his life inspire others to walk in truth and love.
Hi everyone,
We honor the life and faith of Corey Comperatore, a beloved husband, father, friend, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. In the face of tragedy, we find hope in these powerful words said by Corey’s sister, Kelly Comperatore Meeder:
“Evil may have taken you from us, but Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, received you.”
Corey’s unwavering commitment to his faith, his family, and his community lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
Though his earthly journey ended too soon, we believe with confidence that Corey now rests in the presence of the Lord.

Scriptures of Hope:
Romans 8:38–39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 11:25–26
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Revelation 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

It’s with a very heavy heart that I cannot sing happy birthday to you today.
I know, without a doubt, that you would want me to, instead, sing my praises to Heaven. I believe you would want me to know, with absolute certainty, that He is working ALL THINGS for our good… even the things that we STILL cannot bring ourselves to accept or understand.
Romans was “your book”. So, today, in your honor, I will spend some extra time in the Book of Romans… and on my broken heart, I will engrave the scriptures you loved so much.
I miss you like crazy, on this side of Heaven, Bud.
Evil may have taken you from us, but Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, received you. Your birthday is a reminder that YOU were a gift to all of us. And for that, I will give God all the glory and praise.
I love you still, Corey. ❤️🩹

📖 Scripture for Comfort:
Matthew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
John 14:1–3
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–18
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
