It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Founder Pastor Rony Tan, who has returned Home to be with the Lord on 16th September 2024.
Pastor Rony was an anointed evangelist with an extraordinary anointing in healing and evangelism.
He founded Lighthouse Evangelism in 1978 after an encounter with God. Under his leadership, we have grown from a small service at Chip Bee Centre to two church centres in Tampines and Woodlands, and celebrated our 46th anniversary this year.
In remembrance of Pastor Rony, we will be holding a memorial service with the details as follows:
Date: 27 September 2024 (Friday)
Time: 8.00pm – 9.30pm
Location: Lighthouse Evangelism Woodlands
You are warmly invited to join us to celebrate Pastor Rony’s life, and dedication for God.
In his final wishes, Pastor Rony, an evangelist at heart, had expressed that instead of wreaths and condolence money, he would like any donations made to be given to Lighthouse Evangelism Missions.
All proceeds received during this memorial service will therefore be given to support our overseas missions to spread the Gospel, and to bless churches and communities.
