Dr. Abel Damina, the Founder and President of Abel Damina Ministries International (ADMI) and

the Senior Pastor of Power City International, based in Uyo, Nigeria,

has sparked new controversy with his claim that church offerings and tithes are not given to God.

The pastor made the statement in a viral video of a Sunday service message.

Pastor Damina has stated that no offering goes to heaven,

and men spend it whenever we collect offerings in this church.

All the offerings we give to God go to men.

Meanwhile, during Sunday’s viral message, Pastor Damina went on to say that some pastors

misinterpret the purpose of tithes and offerings in order to influence the beliefs of their congregation.

Pastor Damina has said that even those tithe mongers who claim that if you pay your tithe, the doors of heaven would open;

the doors have been open since Jesus rose from the dead and have never been closed.

They are simply working on people’s minds.

Pastor Damina also claimed that many pastors who demand tithes from their congregation

do not practice what they preach.
