We want to sincerely thank our community for the outpouring of support in assisting with the search for Danit Ehrlich. Your willingness to help does not go unnoticed.
At this time, we are asking the public to please avoid entering the search area, as icy conditions near the water pose significant safety risks. Officers, detectives, all available resources, and Search and Rescue teams are actively working in the area, and the island is currently blocked off to ensure a safe and coordinated search effort.

The Missoula Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Danit Ehrlich.
She was last known to be in the area of the dog park near South Van Buren St. yesterday morning.
Officers are actively searching the area using drones in an effort to locate Danit and her dog, Bamba.
If you have seen her or have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the Missoula Police Department at (406) 552-6300.
