Crew has gained his angel wings. 💔🪽
Crew’s battle with DIPG was won yesterday at 5:45 PM on the 5th floor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He was surrounded by all who loved him most and received the best pediatric end of life care in the world.
Devastation is a gross understatement of how we currently are. We ask for privacy in the coming days as I get Crew’s earthly affairs in order and head back home to Seneca for our first Christmas without our boy. I will collect his cremains from a local funeral home in Memphis – then we will return home to begin picking up the pieces. I do not know when that will be.
Please pray for our hearts. They are completely shattered. God, we miss you so fiercely already, baby. But you did it. We did it, baby. I hope you are tearing up the heavenly realms with your new legs and wings! I feel you all around me, buddy. I know you’re never far away. Carry me baby. I am crushed without you. 😭💔

The family of a 6-year-old boy who was fighting an incurable form of brain cancer confirmed his death on Saturday.

Crew, 6, died Saturday at 5:45 PM ET from diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), according to his family’s Facebook post.

Crew’s family has requested privacy as they prepare to spend their first Christmas without him.
