*** Update as of 8:10 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 *** – The search for Margaret is resuming this morning. There will be a large police and first responder presence in the Forge Village area. Don’t be alarmed if you see police canine units walking around, drones in the area, or a helicopter flying overhead, these resources will be part of the search effort. 🚨 Missing Person Search in the Forge Village Area 🚨
The Westford Police Department is currently searching for 73-year-old Margaret Hammersley in the area of Bradford Street and Pleasant Street. Hammersley was reported missing this morning in her hometown of Nashua, New Hampshire. Her vehicle was recently located unoccupied this evening in a parking lot along Pleasant Street.
Hammersley is approximately 5’3 with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and a dark-colored shirt underneath when she left her home this morning. Hammersley is known to wear glasses and is believed to be wearing them now. Hammersley does not have her phone on her, and there is no known connection to the Forge Village or Westford area.
