NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly has shared an incredible update on Little Bean, a child for whom the Kelly family has been asking the world to pray for and whose journey has inspired prayers around the world.

On August 5 — “Hunter’s Heaven Day” — Little Bean came off oxygen and has stayed off ever since. The Kelly family believes this is an answer to prayer and a glimpse of God’s healing power.

They are deeply thankful for the medical team and give ultimate credit to Jesus for carrying them through this journey.

The next milestone is August 11, when doctors will attempt to take Little Bean off his medication. Jim and Jill Kelly are asking everyone to continue praying for complete healing.

We have an amazing UPDATE to share…one that only God could orchestrate.
On August 5th, Hunter’s Heaven Day, Little Bean came off of oxygen… and has remained off ever since.
We believe with all our hearts that this is an answer to prayer and a glimpse of God’s healing power.
The timing is not a coincidence.
It’s a reminder that God knows.
He is working. And He’s always on time.
We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the doctors, the critical care team, the nurses, and every single person at the hospital who has helped care for Little Bean. Their dedication, expertise, and compassion have been such a gift to our family.
But even more than that, we recognize that their wisdom and skill are gifts from God. He is the One who gives knowledge to heal, compassion to care, and strength to carry the weight of suffering.
He is the One sustaining Little Bean.
He is the ultimate Healer.
Without Jesus, we couldn’t walk through this. The pain is too deep, the road too hard. But He is carrying us. It’s not our strength, it’s His.
We pray that when you read these words, you see Him. That you’re reminded He is faithful, He is real, and He is worthy of your trust…no matter what you’re facing.

August 11th is a very important day, the doctors will try again to take Little Bean off his medication and our prayer is that he will be able to stay off the medication and not need any additional intervention.
