On Sunday, suspected terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from a shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi area, killing at least 10 people and injuring 33 others, according to police and officials.
The bus rolled down a gorge after the attack.
The terrorists opened fire on the bus as it returned from the Shiv Khori shrine in Reasi to Katra.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi Mohita Sharma stated that the firing caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and fall into a gorge.
She stated that the passengers were not locals, and their names had not yet been confirmed.
According to sources, the terrorists are thought to be hiding in the upper regions of Rajouri, Poonch, and Reasi.
When police learned of the attack, they rushed to the spot.
Security personnel launched an investigation at the scene.
