I’ll start by making one thing perfectly clear. Donald Trump has my strong endorsement.

Our country is at a critical moment. We have a choice to make. For more than a year, I said a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for President Kamala Harris. After seeing the debate, everyone knows it’s true.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley made her highly anticipated appearance at the Republican Convention, to mixed cheers and booing from the audience.

Haley, former President Donald Trump’s fiercest primary foe, gave him her “strong endorsement” during the event in Milwaukee, putting an end to months of speculation about whether she would back her former rival.

However, the initial reaction to Haley’s appearance contrasted sharply with that of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Trump’s primary adversary during the 2016 campaign, who received a standing ovation from the audience, including Trump himself.

Nonetheless, Haley attempted to deliver a message of unity, noting that not everyone must agree with Trump completely to support him in this year’s election.

“You don’t have to agree with Trump 100 percent of the time to vote for him. Take it from me. I haven’t always agreed with President Trump. But we agree more often than we disagree.”

Haley, who previously served as Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations before running against him, was not always expected to speak at the convention.

However, following a failed assassination attempt on Trump at a Pennsylvania event on Saturday, the Republican Party quickly rallied behind the former president.
