The incident in Sydney is an outrage and another antisemitic attack.

I stand with the Jewish community and unequivocally condemn this attack.

Vandals spray-painted anti-Israel graffiti in a Sydney suburb on Wednesday, prompting “outrage” from Australia’s government just days after a Melbourne synagogue was set on fire.

Police are looking for 2 people aged 15-20 who were wearing face coverings during the incident, which also involved the torching of a car in the early hours.

According to state police, graffiti covered the torched car, another vehicle, 2 buildings, and a sidewalk.

Local media images showed the misspelled text “Kill Israiel” painted in black on a white wall in Woollahra, an eastern suburb with a long-standing Jewish community.

Shortly afterwards, a contractor painted over the graffiti.
