US Vice President Kamala Harris pauses during a campaign rally in Arizona to directly address hecklers who had interrupted her remarks for the second time this week with chanting over the Gaza war.
“Hold on a second,” she said at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, AZ.
Harris has made it clear that “now is the time to get a ceasefire deal” to end the fighting between Israel and Hamas.
The Democratic presidential nominee stated that she and US President Joe Biden “are working around the clock every day to get that ceasefire deal done and bring the hostages home.”
Harris continued:
“I respect your voices, but we are here to now talk about this race in 2024.”
She reacted differently earlier this week when Gaza protestors interrupted her at a Detroit event.
She talked over the protestors.
