It began in 2019, when Julian Galloway was diagnosed with Group 3 Medulloblastoma — an aggressive form of brain cancer.
From that moment, Julian and his family — known to many as Team Julian — entered a battle that captured the hearts of their Corpus Christi community and far beyond.
Through surgeries, radiation, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, Julian fought with extraordinary courage and faith.
But during what was meant to be a short vacation in Houston, Julian was hospitalized unexpectedly.
An MRI revealed devastating results — the tumors had continued to spread through his brain and spine.
In their heartfelt post on Facebook, Team Julian shared these words:
“Julian had his MRI almost two weeks ago during an unplanned hospitalization in Houston when he was supposed to be having a mini vacation. His health has declined so much in the past month.
We have agonized on how to put this into words — the tumors have continued to spread throughout his brain and spine and there are no more treatment options.
Julian is home receiving comfort care. We were told he has a few weeks, maybe a couple months.
We have done everything we possibly could — his body is just worn out. We pray that Julian does not endure any more suffering.”
They continued,
“We appreciate everything our community has done for Julian over the years and just ask for prayers.
Please no unannounced visits and please be patient if messages or calls are not returned right away.”
Now Julian is home — surrounded by love, resting in comfort, and held in prayer.
This is no longer about hospitals or treatments; it’s about faith, peace, and the quiet strength of a family trusting God through the hardest season of their lives.
