CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: “I’m So Disappointed”: Deji Adeyanju, Lawyer & Activist [#ImSoDisappointed #DejiAdeyanju #DavidIbiyeomie]
Hi everyone.
Deji Adeyanju, a Nigerian lawyer and activist, has criticized Nigerian Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, for threatening to arrest and lock up anyone who writes negatively about him.
In a viral video, the pastor accused bloggers of deliberately misrepresenting his messages and claimed that certain members of his church were colluding with them.
Pastor Ibiyeomie promised to take harsh action against anyone who “crosses the line.”
He also stated that he would not be influenced by appeals for mercy, and that he would deal decisively with anyone who defied him.
Adeyanju writes on X and I quote:
I’m so disappointed in Papa David Ibiyeomie warning and threatening Nigerians not to talk or criticize him or his church else he will lock them up.
Who are you sir that people can’t talk about your church or criticize you?
People criticized Jesus and He did not lock them up.
And boasting about using police to lock people up, a pastor ooo!
These pastors are acting like unbelievers and de-marketing Christianity.
They are the reason many people are no longer going to church.
