Lydia McQueen is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Eric Foxx.

This GoFundMe page is for a humble, hardworking pastor named Eric Foxx, who lost everything he owned to a tragic house fire. He is known for his generosity and unwavering support, and he has lost not just his home and belongings but treasured family heirlooms. We are all heartbroken, feeling the weight of his loss.

As the flames flickered out and the smoke cleared, we gathered together to figure out how to support our beloved pastor. In that moment, the idea of creating a GoFundMe page emerged, driven by our deep desire to help him rebuild his life.

Please help share Pastor Eric’s story. We want to highlight his dedication to the community, his tireless work with the church, and the youth he loves, and for the meals he has served to those in need. We aim to raise funds not only to help him secure temporary housing but also to replace essential belongings.
All proceeds will go to Eric to rebuild his home and to replace his belongings from his total loss.

A Mobile, AL Pastor is starting from scratch after losing everything in a house fire.

Eric Foxx is the founding pastor of Home Church in Mobile.

He’s been a pastor at several Gulf Coast churches and was instrumental in establishing Mo’Bay Beignet Company.

Foxx sys things were going well when the unexpected occurred.

Foxx claims he received a call last Saturday informing him that his Chickasaw house had caught fire.

His house was completely destroyed.

Foxx has owned his Chickasaw house since 2012.

It’s now barely recognizable, but for a few artifacts in the ruins.

A Saraland soccer bag is smeared in soot, evoking one of Foxx’s favorite memories.

Foxx claims that even before the flames died down and the smoke cleared, his church and the community were discussing how they might help.

As Foxx considers what comes next, he tells FOX10 News why he’s sharing his story.

“It’s really just showing people- I felt a peace in all of this, and God was like, ‘People need to see what happens when the faith family- when things happen, when things are not perfect, when things go wrong in our lives, how people of faith respond.’ “I have joy because happiness is happenstance- but joy is constant.” “I continue to put my trust in Jesus.”
