All the 5 suspects charged with the killings of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley appeared in court today for a status hearing.

31-year-old Paul Grice. 43 years old Tad Cullum, 54-year-old Tifany Adams, 50-year-old Cole Twombly, and 44-year-old Cora Twombly are all charged with first-degree murder, 2 counts of kidnapping, and 1 count of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree.

At today’s hearing, the court dismissed the application to seal the search warrants in this case.

However, the judge also issued a motion to withhold the full medical examiner’s report for 6 months, but the summary report will be made accessible once completed.

The judge also imposed a gag order in the case due to widespread local and national coverage.

Attorneys believe that this will help to reduce media coverage and improve the jury pool and venue, ensuring a fair trial.

Discovery motions were also issued, allowing the defense attorney access to evidence.

The next court appearance is a discovery status hearing on June 19 at 9:00 AM CT.

The 2 women’s causes of death have not been released at this time.
