6-storey building collapses like a house of cards: 15 injured, 5 feared trapped

A 6-storey building in Krishnanagar, Sachin GIDC area of Surat collapsed on Saturday. Around 15 people were injured in the building collapse and were rushed to hospital for treatment. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire and police team immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation. A large number of people also gathered around the spot. However, the exact cause of the building collapse is yet to be ascertained.

સુરત સચિનના પાલી ગામ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા ક્રિષ્નાનગરમાં એક 6 માળની બિલ્ડીંગ ધરાશાયી થઈ હતી. બિલ્ડીંગ ધરાશાયી થતાં અંદાજે 15 જેટલા લોકોને ઈજાઓ પહોંચતા સારવાર અર્થે હોસ્પિટલ ખસેડાયા. જ્યારે ઘટના ની જાણ થતાં તાત્કાલિક ફાયર અને પોલીસ ટીમ ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી રેસ્ક્યું ઓપરેશન હાથ ધરાયું. જ્યારે ઘટના ને લઈ ને મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો પણ ઉમટી પડ્યા હતા. જો કે બિલ્ડિંગ પડવાનું ચોક્કસ કારણ હજી સુધી સામે આવ્યું નથી.

Officials reported that 15 people had been injured.

Police and firefighters have rushed to the spot and are conducting a rescue effort.

Rescue officials were seen moving through massive chunks of concrete in search of anyone trapped, according to video footage from the scene.

According to officials, the building was deteriorated and collapsed today as a result of severe rainfall in the area during the previous few days.
