Today at Lifepoint Community Church in Malvern the church facility experienced significant damage caused by what is thought to be a lighting strike. Thankfully no one was injured.
The auditorium full of memories from the past thirty years will need to be rebuilt. Much like many of us who walked through the doors and depended on God to rebuild our lives. With God’s help we will start a new chapter in this journey of life. We will rely on God to rebuild the building and rebuild the lives of those who come.
I want to say THANK YOU to our area fire departments. South Malvern, Malvern, Rockport, and others. You came out in the rain and did all you could do. You are the heroes of the day. Without you there would have been much more damage.
Thank you to all of those who came by, called, or texted. We will not forget your kind words.
We do ask for your prayers as we navigate through the insurance deductibles, and escalating cost of rebuilding. Below is a picture of a portion of the auditorium. God often takes what looks like a loss, and turns it into something beautiful again.
