On November 2nd, 2025, believers around the world will unite for the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians — also known as IDOP.
Organized by ministries like Voice of the Martyrs, Open Doors USA, and International Christian Concern, this day reminds us:
“Remember the prisoners as if chained with them” — Hebrews 13:3
In more than 75 nations, Christians face harassment, imprisonment, and even death simply for following Jesus.
That’s over 360 million believers — more than the entire population of the United States — living under severe persecution.
In North Korea, owning a Bible could mean execution.
In Nigeria, entire churches are burned in the night.
In China, digital surveillance tracks every step of underground pastors.
These aren’t stories of the ancient church.
This is happening today.
