CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: University of Wyoming Women’s Volleyball Team Becomes the 3rd in the Nation to Refuse Competing against Transgender Opponent, Forfeiting Game to San Jose State This Season

This season, the University of Wyoming women’s volleyball team became the third in the nation to forfeit a game against San Jose State.

Wyoming followed Boise State and Southern Utah in not providing a particular explanation for the forfeiture.

“After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San Jose State University. Per Mountain West Conference policy, the conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming.”

– the Volleyball Program issued a statement on Tuesday

Blaire Fleming, a transgender female, competes for San Jose State.

Fleming is a redshirt junior at San Jose State University, who plays as an outside and right-side hitter after previously playing at Coastal Carolina.

“It is disappointing that our SJSU student athletes, who are in full compliance with NCAA and Mountain West rules and regulations, are being denied opportunities to compete. We are committed to supporting our student-athletes through these challenges and in their ability to compete in an inclusive, fair, safe and respectful environment.”

Brooke Slusser, a member of the San Jose women’s volleyball team, joined 18 other players in challenging the NCAA for its existing gender identity standards.

According to the lawsuit, Slusser, who transferred to San Jose, became frightened for her safety after learning that one of her new teammates was transgender.

According to court records, Slusser said she was unaware Fleming was transsexual despite the fact that they shared rooms on team trips.

Slusser also expressed safety concerns for opponents facing Fleming.

In April, the Biden administration issed a sweep rule clarifying that Title IX’s prohibition on “sex” discrimination in schools includes discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, and “pregnancy or related conditions.”

The rule went into effect on August 1, and for the first time, the law recognized that sex discrimination covers conduct connected to a person’s gender identification.

The Biden administration maintained that the policy did not address athletic eligibility.

However, many experts told Fox News Digital in June that Biden’s claims that it would not result in biological men engaging in women’s sports were false, and that the proposal would eventually result in more biological men participating in women’s sports.

However, the current administration’s efforts have been met with strong opposition by Republican politicians such as Idaho governor Brad Little, and individual schools and teams are now taking a stand.

On August 16, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 to deny the Biden administration’s emergency request to enforce aspects of the new regulation, including Title IX protections for transgender students.

Wyoming, Southern Utah, and Boise State have all added to the opposition.
