CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: What Happened to Canberra Baptist Church? Kingston ACT, Australia | Expelled from Baptist Association over Same-Sex Marriage Support
The New South Wales and ACT Baptist Association has expelled Canberra Baptist Church for its advocacy of same-sex marriage.
Hamilton Baptist in Newcastle, NSW, has also been expelled for refusing to embrace the association’s conservative stance on the matter.
Canberra Baptist Church parishioners say they are saddened by the association’s decision, but their church is in a “really good place” and the future looks promising.
