In October 2025, Chinese authorities arrested Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, founder of Zion Church, along with dozens of church leaders. This is the largest crackdown on an independent Christian church in China since the Cultural Revolution. (reuters.com)

Grace Jin Drexel addressed U.S. lawmakers with a powerful testimony:
“I am sometimes indeed fearful — after all, I know that I am seeking to expose and hold to account the second most powerful country in the world. Yet as a Christian, I believe that we are asked to take courage and speak the truth, and that the God who created Heaven and Earth will stand by my side.” (cecc.gov)
She described the brutal arrests — over 30 pastors and staff taken, families torn apart, and her father’s health at risk.
Then came the reveal:
“Even in the darkest moments, when my father and dozens of others were wrongfully imprisoned, God’s power has been unmistakably at work — strengthening our faith, multiplying the church, and inspiring thousands to pray and act in His name. What was meant to crush us has only made the church grow stronger.”

Grace continued:
