The targeting of the Southern Sydney Synagogue with Swastikas and vile antisemitic graffiti in the early hours of this morning is a grotesque act and it must be condemned.
Investigations underway after offensive graffiti located in Sydney’s south
Police are continuing their investigations after offensive graffiti was located on a synagogue in Sydney’s south this morning.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 4.10am today (Friday 10 January 2025) on Railway Parade, Allawah.
Officers from St George Police Area Command were patrolling the area when they came across the graffiti and commenced inquiries into the incident.
As investigations continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build, and with a long brown beard.
The man was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants with a white stripe on the side, and aviator-style sunglasses.
The NSW Police Force takes hate crimes seriously and encourages anyone who is the victim of a hate crime of witnesses a hate crime to report the matter to police through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or through Triple Zero (000).
