Former Pres. Donald Trump and Vice Pres. Kamala Harris will face off in a prime time debate on ABC next month, Sept. 10. The debate is one of three that Trump agreed to during his Mar-a-Lago news conference.
Former President Donald Trump says he has agreed an offer from ABC News to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on September 10.
Trump stated this during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago Club on Thursday.
Harris also confirmed her participation in the debate, telling reporters Thursday evening that she is looking forward to it.
Trump had stated that he was willing to go head to head with President Joe Biden and accepted ABC’s first invitation in May.
However, after Biden pulled out of the race last month and Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee, Trump indicated that he would not debate Harris on ABC.
Harris had accused Trump of “running scared” and seeking to withdraw from the debate.
