I want you to pray not only for dad, but I want you to pray for mother.

My mother is the rock of our family.

My mother has always been the glue that holds this family together.

The reality is it’s always been the faith of my mother.

She’s always been the rock, the glue.

But she needs prayer.

She has not left dad’s side except to go home in the morning and take a shower and then come back.

Today, when she came in, you know, she asked everyone to leave.

She said, I want to be alone with Jimmy.

And she needs strength.

She needs to be lifted up.

Think about this.

They’ve been married 72 years.

My mother lived with her family and on her own for only 16 years of her life.

But every other year since then has been them too.

72 years.

And she needs a touch.

Whatever path we’re walking now, I’m walking it also for you.

I don’t want to see one of you go through anything like this.

But you have our promise when you find yourself in this situation.

We will be there.

Because this is a family.

Lift up dad, lift up mother, lift up the family.

We will stand upon the rock that is Christ and preach the whole gospel.

I promised Dad that as long as I have breath, we will never deviate.

And if the Lord would raise him up tomorrow, or if he doesn’t, we will carry the banner until the trump of God sounds.
