Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and president of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel International, has stated that he made a pledge to Jesus to build 1,000 churches before leaving this earth.
During a recent message, Bishop Oyedepo told his congregation that he promised Jesus to construct churches in His Name even before he had a bank account.
“Before I opened my first bank account, I said, ‘Jesus, if you ever bless me, I want to be a part of building new churches.'”
Bishop Oyedepo claimed that he told Jesus that he did not want to die unless he built 1000 churches.
