Florida shocked Taiwan in the Little League World Series on Sunday, winning 2-1 in extra innings.
Things did not look good as the club entered its final at-bat before extra innings, behind 1-0.
ESPN cut to Florida manager Jonathan Anderson giving his squad a pre-game lecture.
And that conversation caused quite a sensation on social media.
Of course, religion can be divisive, so some people on social media appeared to be concerned by the message.
After the game, ESPN approached Anderson about his speech again, and he repeated the narrative.
