During a tense meeting Sunday evening, members of Christ Presbyterian Church overwhelmingly voted for senior pastor Rev. Scott Sauls’ resignation.

Hundreds of members gathered at Christ Presbyterian’s flagship site on the Nashville/Brentwood border to consider “releasing” Sauls from his call as head of the 3-campus church, which he served for 12 years and acquired renown and devotion among members.
