CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: [UPDATE] All 4 Children of Pastor Kurt Schilling Killed in a Tragic Car Accident | Pastor of Emmaus Lutheran Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin | Funeral Plans Being Finalized – Visitation Next Tuesday, Service Next Wednesday, Both Open to Public [#KurtSchilling]

Funeral plans for 4 siblings died in a weekend incident in Waupaca County involving a suspected drunk driver are nearly complete.

According to the family to FOX 11, Daniel, Fabian, Lillian, and Daniela Gonzalez will be recognized at Weyauwega-Fremont High School on Wednesday.

A visitation has been scheduled for the day before.

Details are being finalized, according to Lewin Funeral Home in Fremont.

The public is welcome to both the visitation and the service.

Following the loss of the 4 Gonzalez siblings, hearts are heavy in Weyauwega and the surrounding region, but the congregation of Emmaus Lutheran Church Waupaca has been especially deeply hit.

The Gonzalez children not only worshiped here, but their stepfather, Kurt Schilling, is the pastor.

Since learning about the terrible incident and its link to this church, the congregation, like the Schilling and Gonzalez families, has depended on their faith to cope with their loss.

Sunday church resumed as planned only hours after the disaster last weekend.

Pastor Schilling sat in a seat as another pastor delivered the sermon.

And, only days before Christmas, in the aftermath of the church and community’s tragedy, preparations for the special holiday services, including the children’s program, are still continuing.

Daniela Gonzalez, the youngest accident victim, was supposed to take part.

According to church officials, Pastor Schilling intends to preach on Christmas Eve as part of the children’s program, and the congregation will support him.

While there will be pain and grief this holiday season, this congregation will rely on their faith and church family to raise up the Schilling and Gonzalez families, as well as everyone who goes through the door.
