A small church is starting over after its pastor claims that roughly $20,000 in items were taken from a storage facility.
Restore Houston Church, Houston, Texas is now appealing to the community for assistance in getting back on their feet before the holidays.
Pastor Justin Gingrich nearly burst into tears when he learned his church’s trailer, as well as all of his hard work over the previous 2 years, were vanished.
in its stead He noticed 3 damaged locks and a smashed boot at the Life Storage facility on East T.C. Jester Boulevard in the Heights on Sunday morning.
During the COVID outbreak in 2021, Pastor Gingrich founded Restore Houston Church.
The church currently has roughly 60 members, including 20 children, some of whom are as young as 6 months old.
The trailer has been sitting at the storage facility for about 2 years, according to Gingrich.
Gingrich anticipates a total loss of approximately $20,000 in stolen equipment.
He filed a report with Houston police and is currently looking for security video in the neighborhood.
However, because no other trailers nearby were destroyed or broken into, he believes the church was targeted.
