CHRISTIAN BREAKING NEWS: 72% of Christian Killings: 2026 World Watch List Nigeria Crisis — URGENT Prayer Alert! 🇳🇬🙏🔥
Nigeria is officially the deadliest place on Earth for believers in 2026. 72% of all global Christian martyrdoms this year happened in just one nation—we cannot remain silent.🙏
Watch until the end for the specific intercession points and the landmark 2026 persecution report details.
“You’re scrolling through your feed, but right now, a silent crisis is reaching a breaking point.”
“Right now, the deadliest place in the world to be a Christian is Nigeria—and most people have no idea this is happening. While the headlines focus elsewhere, a shadow is falling over West Africa that demands your immediate attention. You need to see what the world is ignoring.”
“But this isn’t just an opinion—the hard data from the new 2026 World Watch List just confirmed our worst fears.”
“Nigeria is now the epicenter of Christian killings worldwide.1 The 2026 report, released just days ago on January 14, confirms that more Christians were killed for their faith in Nigeria than in all other countries combined. Following recent US missile strikes on militants in the region, the situation has escalated into what many are now calling a modern-day genocide.”
“Because you are part of the global family of faith, we cannot simply look at these numbers without looking at the souls behind them.”
“Wherever you’re watching from, please pause with us. We are taking a moment to intercede for a situation that needs the light of Christ right now. Do not scroll past—these are our brothers and sisters, and they are calling for our help.”
“To understand the weight of this prayer, you have to realize exactly where the ground is soaked with the blood of martyrs.”
“In just the first weeks of 2026, fresh bloodshed has claimed dozens of lives in Niger State and Benue. Of the 4,849 believers killed globally in this reporting period, 3,490 were in Nigeria alone. That means roughly seventy-two percent of all Christians martyred for their faith were Nigerian.”
“You might think other nations are more dangerous, but the truth is actually much more terrifying.”
“While North Korea holds the position for the most severe persecution overall, Nigeria remains the deadliest country in the world for Christians today. In states like Kaduna and Taraba, Christian villages and even school children are being targeted. Lawlessness has turned these regions into killing fields.”
“When the world feels this dark, we have to anchor ourselves in the only Word that never changes.”
Visual: Cinematic close-up of a well-worn Bible opening. The text of Hebrews 13:3 glows.
“Hebrews 13:3 tells us: ‘Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.’ And we find hope in Psalm 34:19: ‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.'”
“Because we believe in a God who hears, we are now going to pray specifically for the families currently hiding in the bush.”
“Father God, we lift up our family in Nigeria. Lord, You see the blood shed in Benue and Plateau. We ask You to strengthen the Church with supernatural courage. Comfort every grieving family. Protect the pastors and congregations under threat. Expose those who carry out violence and let the light of Christ shine in the darkest corners of Nigeria. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“Prayer is the foundation, but it is also the fuel for our action—and here is how you can help right now.”
“If you believe the Church should never suffer in silence, here is your response. First, pray—not just once, but every day for Nigeria. Second, share this video so the suffering Church is not forgotten. Third, stay informed. Your awareness is a weapon against the indifference of the world.”
“Before you go, let this one name be burned into your heart.”
“This is happening in Nigeria. At Christian Breaking News, we stand with the Truth that gives us hope. Stay informed, stay grounded, and stay in prayer. Until next time, this is Christian Breaking News.”
